Sterling Heights, MI - State Representative Patrick Green, D-Warren, endorsed Nate Shannon for the 25th District seat in the Michigan House of Representative Monday.
“As Warren City Councilman, having a representative who is invested in the community is tremendously important and that’s why I’m endorsing Nate for State Representative,” Rep. Green said. “Nate doesn’t just live in Sterling Heights, he is a dedicated member of the community and is committed to creating opportunities for middle and working class families. I have no doubt Nate is the right person to represent Warren and Sterling Heights.”
Shannon sits on the Sterling Heights City Council, and is a member of the Michigan League’s Elected Officials Academy and the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry. As State Representative, Shannon will fight for quality education, better roads, affordable college and job training, and will work to restore local control in his district.
“It’s an honor to have Rep. Green at my side as I work to build a stronger Michigan that the residents of Michigan’s 25th District can be proud of,” said Shannon. “I’m so thankful for his support and I look forward to the opportunity to continue serving my community, just in a different capacity.”
State Rep. Patrick Green joins Rep. John Chirkun, Plumbers Local 98, UNITE HERE Local 24 and UA Local 363 to endorse Shannon for State Representative.
