The Michigan Association of Police Organizations (MAPO), representing two-thirds of the state’s 19,000 certified police officers, announced its endorsement of Nate Shannon for Michigan’s 25th House District.
“It is a tremendous honor to have the Michigan Association of Police Organizations at my side,” Shannon said. “Every single day, our emergency service professionals put their lives at risk to keep our communities safe. I look forward to working with them on this effort as State Representative.”
Shannon has earned support from numerous Michigan public safety organizations, including the Michigan Professional Fire Fighters Union, Sterling Heights Police Officers Association, Warren Police Officers Association, Sterling Heights Fire Fighters 1557 and Warren Fire Fighters Local 1383
Since announcing his campaign in February, Shannon has also been endorsed by the Michigan Education Association, Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights, Michigan Building and Construction Trades Council, State Rep. Henry Yanez, Rep. John Chirkun, Rep. Patrick Green, Plumbers Local 98, UNITE HERE Local 24 and UA Local 363.
